Maranta leuconeura ‘Beauty Kim’
This vibrant, striped, velvety plant comes from the tropics of Brazil. It gets its nickname “prayer plant” because the leaves fold up at night, which mimicking hands praying. It’s been said that this is an adaptation that allows the roots to gain access to rainfall.
Low to bright indirect light. Direct light will scorch the leaves.
